The system works via form level security. Every form in the system is listed in the security window. There is not limit to the number of users that can be defined. Each form is assigned to a user with the access type of Read - Write, Read Only, or No Access.

There are three separate tabs to control security. The Membership tab controls the security for Membership, Talents, Groups, Attendance, Envelopes, and Contributions. The Fund Accounting tab controls the security for accounting side of IconCMO. The third security tab is the Parishioners tab for "Home Security". The home security section allows you to assign log in information for the members of the church that wish to review their data. By using separate tabs for Membership and Fund Accounting your organization is able to have a System Administrator for each area.

Example: John may have full access to the entire membership and contribution section including the resposibility of controling the users in membership and contributions. However, John might not have access to the "Fund Accounting" side. Mary might be in charge of the Fund Accounting and control all access to this section. This enables the church to have one database and yet have separate people controlling the two main modules. (Membership and Fund Accounting).
