Icon Systems handles all updates, including hardware and software for the IconCMO application. The user only needs an Internet-connected computer.
Does IconCMO follow FASB 958 reporting regulations?
Yes. Many accounting packages on the market for nonprofits do NOT follow this guideline, and it is an important question to ask when evaluating fund accounting software.
Does IconCMO use cash-based or accrual-based fund accounting?
Both. IconCMO can do either one of these but we recommend the organization choose the one that is outlined in their church bylaws.
Can access be granted to various users based on what they should be allowed to view and/or change?
Yes. User accounts can be created and configured to grant user-specific permissions for each user. Permission levels include Read, Read/Write, and No Access levels to screens.
What is included in the subscription price of the software?

Can IconCMO church software manage small groups?
Yes. You can set up small groups and take attendance on them for activities such as Sunday School, VBS and other classes. You can also communicate to group members or their parents via email or send group text messages for events, emergencies, etc.
